Home in Lapland is located 30 km north of Rovaniemi, 20 km north of the Arctic Circle and at the end of a 5 km unsealed road in the middle of the small country village of Tuhnaja.

Transportation can be arranged from Rovaniemi where the airport and railway station are located. The closest bus stop is 5 km from The Home.

With our choices we try to save nature and recycle all materials. We only use organic fertilizer, build and repair by using recycled materials, if it is possible.

We live away from big tourist centers and cities. The people in the village know each other. The environment is very caring and safe. All water that we use is pure spring water from the nearest hill.

We offer guided reindeer husbandry, hiking, camping, skiing, snow shoe walking, berry picking, fishing, bike riding and visits to points of interest in the area.
